Feel Better Card
Love you a "bunch"
I made this card for this week's challenge over at Just Buggin. The challenge is to use food in your project. I wanted to make a bunch of grapes, but could not find one on any of my carts, so I cut out a bunch of circles on the George and Basic Shapes cart and pieced them together to make the bunch.

Just Because Card with Dustin Pike Digistamp
I did this card using the sketch on the Doodledragron studio challenge blog. I started with a card base from my mind's eye. Then, I added the beige cardstock strip that I embossed with the swiss dots folder on the Cuttlebug. I colored in the Dustin Pike Digistamp with prisma colored pencils. The accent at the bottom was cut from the Home Decor Cricut Cartridge at a size 1 and then stamped with a stampin up mini mates stamp. I accented the top corner with three copper colored skittles.
Kaylee and Toby
I did this layout using patterned paper for the Practical Scrappers challenge and I used the sketch on the Stuck on you Sketches challenge. The circle in the middle was cut with the silhouette feature at a size 10 from the George and Basic Shapes cart. The chipboard letters and heart are stickers by love elsie. I then cut two rectangles to use in the background from the George cart, the main one at a size 7 1/2 and the photo background at a size 6 1/2. I had a precut and preembossed accent that I used on one side of the page and then cut two smaller, similar ones from the home decor cart at a size 1 1/4. I embossed these in the cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder so they would match the one I already had. The white heart by the picture was also cut from home decor at a size 2 3/4. I then used pop dots and glue dots to add some heart buttons, a chipboard heart and some red gems.
There is some awesome blog candy over at http://amkscrap.blogspot.com/2010/01/winter-mini-blog-candy.html. She is giving away all three of the winter mini carts, so be sure to stop by and leave a comment for your chance to win these. She also has a lot of great projects and cut files on her blog, so be sure to check it out while you are there.

"Dino" Mite Valentine
My niece likes dinosaurs, so I decided I would make her Valentine's Card in a dino theme. The Dinosaur came from Paper Dolls Dress Up. I set it at a size 5 1/2 and welded two of them together with all of the cuts blacked out in the Cricut Design Studio. I then cut another one in a darker shade of purple at 5 1/2 to layer on the front of the card. I added google eyes and purple stickles to fill in the spots on the dinosaur. The little stamp shape he is holding was cut with a fiskar's punch. I then wrote Happy Valentine's Day on it. This was attached with pop dots. (I wanted to distinguish that it was a Valentine's Card.) On the inside, I simply hand wrote the sentiment.
"Purr"fect Valentine
Here is another card that I made with the Everyday Paper Dolls Cart. I welded two of the cat images in a size 5 1/2 on the cricut design studio. I used a black marker to add the details to his face and then added google eyes to make him cuter. The heart that he is holding is a cut from Love Struck that I rec'd from a swap on the cricut message board and I attached it with pop dots. I had a sticker that said purrrfect, so I attached it and added the hand writing above for my inside sentiment. (I did not have any on hand, but I think it would be neat to add some black wire for the whiskers to give it a little bit extra.)
SomeBunny Loves You
Here is another Valentine's Day card I made. The bunny is from Everyday Paper Dolls. I welded two of them together to make a card and used the hide contour function on all of the lines. This was cut at a size 5 1/2 in a beige cardstock. Then I cut a regular bunny at 5 1/2 in a pink cardstock and layered that onto the front of the card. I used a prisma color pencil to outline the details on the bunny in a silver gray color and filled in his nose with pink. I then added the google eyes, pink button and used white fun flock on the tail.
This was the first time I have used fun flock and I really liked the way it looked. I used a zig glue pen to cover the area and then sprinkled it with the flock. Once I dusted it off, I added a second layer, because I wanted it a little bit thicker than it was to begin with.

Just Because Card (Black and Gold Gypsy Spot Challenge)
At the gypsy spot, they are having a challenge this week to use black and gold in a project. I made a card for my aunt for this challenge. The card is the doily card cut from the Wild Card Cricut cart at a size 5 3/4. The Just Because on the front was also cut from WC at a size 2 and the accent cut at a size 1 3/4. I then threaded the gold ribbon through and added a flower sticker. On the inside, the bird and swirl design is a sticker and the frames were cut from the Home Decor cartridge at size 1 1/2 and size 1. (I have a link to The Gypsy Spot on the side of my blog if you want to enter this challenge and check out their site.)
I "Ruff" You
This dog is from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cart and I designed the cart in the Cricut Design Studio. The size of the card is cut at 5 3/4 size. His dog tag was cut at size 4. I then outlined him with a white opaque marker and added a heart button and google eyes. The heart the dog is holding is from the love struck cart. (I do not have this cart, but received this cut from a Valentine swap on the cricut messageboard.) I used popdots to have the heart stand out. On the inside, I hand wrote the sentiment and added a pink button.

Cute as a Button
I made this layout for the Just Buggin monochromatic color theme challenge this week. I have had these two very big buttons sitting around that I didn't know what to use them for, so I decided to go with the pink color and make myself use one of them. My cricut cuts used in this are the arrows on the page and they were cut with the home decor cart. I also used cotton candy colored stickles on these cuts to add a little more sparkle to the cuts. The letters for the words on this page are stickers. Finally, I added a few buttons and heart cut outs to the corners.

Showers of Presents
This layout was done on pre-embossed paper by Love Elsie. It has rainbows and clouds embossed on it already. I then embossed the clouds with the Divine Swirls folder in my Cuttlebug for extra embossing. The clouds were cut from the Cricut Serenade cart at size 1 1/4, 2, and 3 3/4 cuts using real dial size. Thanks for looking.

Okay ladies, I am up way too late tonight. Could not sleep, so I figured I would try to post a few more items that I had made. I have way too many crafting pictures on my computer, lol. I am going to be working on Kaylee's Christmas album this coming up week and try to finish up my Valentine Cards. Hope everybody has a good rest of your weekend.
Bathtime for Toby
This is my niece and cousin giving my niece's dog a bath. The dog and border of bubbles were both cut using the paper pups cricut cartridge. I used dew drops and skittles for the bubbles in the dog bath cut and put glossy accents along with blue stickles on the bubbles border to give it the look of real bubbles.

Elvis Paper Doll
This was made with the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge for the Cricut Cropping with the Stars Contest.
Here are the full instructions with page numbers and everything if anybody is interested in making one. (These are the instructions I included with my entry) He is made completely with Everyday Paper Dolls.
You will first need to make the following cuts on the Everday Paper Dolls Cartridge: Page 28 - Body with Blackout feature, cut twice in beige cardstock at size 9 Page 28 - Acc 1 (sideways head) cut once in beige cardstock at size 3 1/4. Page 56 - Racer outfit with blackout feature cut in white cardstock at size 5 1/2. (I cut this twice and put one on the back of the body for added stability) Page 42 - Rainhat with blackout feature and shift cut in white cardstock at size 2. (This will be used for the collar) Page 64- Acc 1 shoes cut in black cardstock at size 1. (I also cut these twice and add to back for extra stability) Page 60- Headwear for Doctor cut in Black at size 2. Page 61- Headwear for nurse cut in black at size 2 1/4. You will need to cut this hair in half at the line made by your cricut. This will be used for the sideburn. Page 56- Racer Acc 1 shift (sunglasses) cut at size 3/4 once in black and once in yellow. You will now cut the glasses in half, then use an exacto blade to cut the center out of the yellow glasses, now attach this over your black glasses to make rims. Page 44- Rocker Acc 2 shift (microphone) cut in black at size 3. You will need to cut the cord off of the microphone.
Now that you have all of your cuts, it is time to assemble your Elvis. I use a zig glue pen to attach all of my cuts. Begin by taking your two bodies out. You will need to pick one body to be your main base. Remove both ears and the hand at his wrist from this body. Now take the second body and cut his entire arm off. You will glue this to the main body where you removed the hand in an upward direction. This will give your paperdoll the appearance of singing. Once the hand is attached, draw palm lines on it with a black art marker and attach the microphone to the top of the hand. You will want to embellish your microphone with a silver glitter marker and make black lines over the silver to make it look more realistic. Now you will need to get your sideways head that was cut. You want to line up the hair and sideburn on the face first before glueing anything down. Once they are lined up how you like them, you can trace them with a pencil and then put down your glue to make sure they are put on exactly where you wanted. You will need to first attach the sideburn and then attach the main hair. Make sure you position the main hair piece in a sideways manner to give the famous Elvis hairstyle. Once these are attached, you can draw an ear in between the sideburn and hair on the side of the face. Nove you will need to get the sunglasses that you already cut in half and attach them to the face. Once they are attached, you can embellish the rims with a yellow glitter marker, then add mini rhinestone stickers, and use your white opaque marker to give an accent on the side of the shades. Now you are ready to glue this completed head to your body. Once attached, you will need to use an exacto knife and remove the blackout body from behind the open mouth of the new head. Next, it is time to attach the shoes first and then attach the outfit. The outfit does not have to be cut or modified, it will still fit over the alteration made for the arm to be facing up. (I attach a pair of shoes and outfit to the back of the paperdoll also to give extra stability). Now take the rain hat that was cut, turn it upside down and attach it to the back of the doll so that it shows over the neck, this will be the collar for his outfit.
Now your doll is fully assembled and you just need to embellish the outfit. Use an opaque white marker to make an accent on the tip of shoes to give them the appearance of a shine. For the outfit, the jumpsuit outline was handdrawn with a pencil and then traced in a black art marker, and finally filled in with a yellow glitter marker. Once filled in, I embellished it with mini rhinestone stickers. The yellow glitter marker and rhinestones were also added to the sleeves and pants legs. The color was trimmed with the yellow glitter marker. Next the yellow glitter marker was used to make rings and rhinestones added for his diamonds. I wanted to use a good bit of rhinestones, because Elvis always wore very flashy outfits and I wanted to capture that. For the triangular section at the top of jumpsuit, I hand cut a piece from the cardstock that was used for the body to fit in there to give the skin color for where his jumpsuit was open.
Now you have a completed Elvis paperdoll that could be used on a layout, as a wall decoration, party decoration or for any Elvis fan. You can also decorate this Elvis in many other of his costumes by using the same cuts in different colors and just embellishing differently also.
