I made these for one of my grandmothers and an aunt. The flowers are bath sponges that I found at Michaels for $2 each. The bottom is filled with bath beads which came from the Target $1 spot. I put the beads and the styrofoam for support into a small plastic bag and then put that into the pot before sticking the flower into the styrofoam to avoid the beads spilling out. I used the Wings in My Garden Cricut Cartridge for the leaves attached to the stick. They were cut at real dial size 1 and then stamped with MS stem green ink. The flower pots came from the Target $1 spot. This cute Mother's Day gift was fun to make and they cost around $5 each to make.
The lady bug card was still a little bit wet from the stickles when I took this picture. This card was created on the Gypsy with the Create a Critter Cartridge. On the inside, I added a handwritten sentiment that says:
Don't want to bug you, but I wanted to say "Have a Happy Mother's Day!"

Hey Everyone!
Hope everybody is having a good week. I have been a little bit sick this week and haven't been doing any crafting. Anyways, I have a ton of layouts to work on and some Mother's Day cards and gifts to make, so I will hopefully be feeling better and get some new things posted later this week.

Dino Notebook
My husband gave me a bind it all for my birthday and I just got a chance to try it out today. I made this cute Dinosaur notebook using the Create a Critter cartridge. I used chipboard for the front and back covers of the book. I cut them at a size 8 with the blade setting at 6 and the pressure setting at max with the multicut on. I did this twice for each cover, so it actually made the cut 4 times to ensure that it would cut through the chipboard. I then put my setting back to blade 4 and pressure high for the rest of the cuts. The dinosaur and top layer were cut at a size 8, while his mid section layer was cut at a size 3. I cut 10 white dinosaurs for the inside pages. The owires I used in the bind it all are size 1/2. I added a few embellishments when it was completed: a hair bow, googly eye and some green stickles. I had a little trouble with the punching at the top of my pages, but ended up getting them aligned. I think she turned out cute for my first notebook attempt.

Snow Days
For the first page of this layout, I used the sketch for the week at Stuck on U Sketches. I modified it a little bit, because I did not want to use a 5x7 picture. The title was cut using my Gypsy to create the file with Tags, Bags, Boxes and More tags and letters from Don Juan. The snowflakes in the bottom corner were pop dotted to add some dimension.
I also used ribbon on the side of this page which was part of the sketch and also for the Practical Scrappers challenge this week. On the second page of the layout, I used ribbon at the corners of the two main photos. I also pop dotted the snowflakes on this page.
I have a link to both: Stuck on U Sketches and Practical Scrappers in my side bar if you want to check their pages out and join in the fun.

Fantabulous Cricut Winged Theme Challenge Layout
This layout was made for the Fantabulous Cricut Winged Theme Challenge this week. I have a link to their site in my sidebar if you want to check them out. I used the bee in my title for the challenge cut.
This was the first page that I designed on my new Gypsy. The title is a cutfile that I made by welding the queen from Gypsy Wanderings and the Bee from Sentimentals. The arrow and the crown are from Home Decor. I also used stickles in gold, yellow and black to add some sparkle to the page and a few gold gems on the crown.
Scrap it with a Song Layout
I made this layout for the first Scrap it with a Song Challenge. The link to their blog can be found on my sidebar if you want to check them out. The song for this week was Your Song by Elton John. I used the line "How wonderful life is while you're in the world". The circle with flourish was part of a gypsy cut file from The Sassy Lady on the cricut messageboard. I then added some patterned paper behind the cirle and added a few green gems to enhance the flourishes. Finally, I added the title around the circle with prismacolor colored pencils.

Excited
My birthday was on Monday and I have been getting gifts from people throughout the week, but I guess birthday week is coming to an end. I got some new toys that I will be making some projects with in the next few days. I got a bind it all that I cannot wait to play with and I also got a Cricut Gypsy. Super excited to use the new toys and I should have some new layouts up early next week.

Circus Layouts
I had a few more circus layouts to do, so I worked on them yesterday and today. Practical Scrappers has a challenge this week to use glitter and bling, so I incorporated those into my layouts. The three layouts with cut sizes and info are below. There is also a link to Practical Scrappers in my sidebar if you want to check them out.
The Peanuts on this page were cut with the Create a Critter Cartridge. They were cut at a size 4 with the hat stripe and white layer cut at a size 1. I added red stickles to the hat stripe to add some sparkle. The Big Top title was cut from the Animal Kingdom Cartridge at a size 2 3/4. I used a silver glitter paper for this cut to add to the page. Finally, I added some mini dew drops that were colored orange around the pictures to give it a little more dimension.
I found this adorable paper at Ross in an overstock paper set. I didn't do much to this one other than adding some blue dew drops and a journal shape. The shape was cut from the Create A Critter Cartridge on the same page as the peanut used above. I cut the black out of it at a size 2. The smile on the elephant was very light, so I did go over that with a blue sharpie marker.

Special Delivery
Kaylee was in a Kid's Box Swap on the Cricut Message Board. This is the box that she received. I used create a critter for all of the cuts that I used on this page. The journal box at the bottom is the stamp shape cut at size 3 1/2. I then cut the mailbox at a size 2 3/4 and added stickles to the flag. The title was cut at a size 3 and then colored with Martha Stewart Glitter markers. The background paper and the paper that I matted the photos on are from the Songbird Paper Pack that I got from Michael's.
Practical Scrappers had a challenge this week to use markers on a project. The MS glitter markers were what I used with coloring in the title for this challenge. There is a link to their page in my sidebar if you want to check out their page.
Trimming The Tree Twilight Style
How do you have a Twilight Tree, well you just add Edward and Bella to the top. This was my niece's idea of course. The tree on this page is the swirly tree cut from the Christmas Noel Cricut Cartridge at a size 11 1/2. I added some adhesive pearls that I cut individual from a pearl strip set from Recollections. The title letters are all premade stickers that I used.
Dog Page
Christmas Puzzle Page
Kaylee wanted this puzzle that she rec'd for Christmas in her scrapbook. I had a hard time getting it to stay together, because the pieces were very flimsy. Finally, I got it together and turned over to glue the back. I should have used the puzzle glue on the front first to make it easier. I will have to remeber that for the next time I have a puzzle to put in a book.

Sweet Dreams
I rec'd my Create a Critter Cart today, so I am so excited to start using it. This is a page from when my niece had her cousin spend the night for the first time. All cuts on this page are from Create a Critter. The title was cut at real dial size 4 and then outlined in a black sharpie marker. The moon was cut at real dial size 7 and his hat was cut at size 3. I used stickles on his cheeks and the hat top. The moon journal spot was cut at a size 2 1/2. I think this is going to be my new favorite cart.
