Smartie Pants Kindergarten Graduation Treats

I have spent this afternoon making 20 little smartie pants. I made these for Kaylee's Kindergarten class. They are having a graduation on May 21st, so I thought these would be cute for her to take to school that morning. I used the Gypsy to set these up on the page and make sure the tags were sized correctly. The pants are from the Paper Dolls Dress Up and the tags are from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. The front says: Congratulations "Smartie" Pants and the back says Kindergarten Graduation 2010 from Kaylee.

  3. These are so cute. My youngest child is in 7th grade but I still spend a lot of time at the elementary school they went to. I would like to make these for the kindergarten classes there. Would you share what size you cut these out at? Thanks so much. cstephenson@q.com

  4. Cyndi, I designed these on my gypsy and I fit the pants to the page where you could cut 9 on one 12x12 matt. The image size on the gypsy was a Width of 3.39 and a Height of 3.648. The tag was cut at a width of 1.5 and a height of 2.3. I hope this helps.

  10. What did you use to glue the pants together?

  11. Hot glue around the legs of the pants and two brads at the top to look like that part of the jeans. The smarties are secured with glue dots. That way they stay secure, but can easily be removed. :)
