Day 17 of Halloween Projects: Paper Sack Goodie Bags

For Day 17, I have some goodie bags to share with you that are made from altered paper sacks. These can be made from lunch sacks that you can find in different colors, or the little paper gift sacks that Walmart sales for 25cents each.

First, I got my plain sacks. The white bag is a lunch sack and the other three are Walmart gift sacks.

Next, I layed out the google eyes that I wanted to use on the bags and then used a pencil to draw the faces how I wanted them to look on the bags.

Now, I just used the pencil lines as my template and decorated the bags with paint and markers.

For Frankenstein, I used large google eyes, a black marker and a white opaque pen for the details.

For the pumpkin, I used green paint for the leaf, yellow paint for the nose, small google eyes and a black marker to outline the painted areas and for the other facial features.

For the ghost, I used small google eyes and a black marker for the facial features.

For the cat, I used a white opaque pen for the details and a black marker to make the lines for the eyes.

These are a really quick and simple craft and I think it would be great to do with kids as well.
