For Day 10, I have some Grinch Pills to share with you. I made these to be some funny stocking stuffers. I am giving one to my dad. Also, today will begin the final pick a stocking giveaway, so be sure to scroll to the bottom for details on how to win.
To make the grinch, I used the following carts: Storybook for the marquee cut, Designer's Calendar for the scallop square (stretched in the gypsy), George and Basic Shapes for the circles, rectangle and triangle, and Sentimentals for the scallop circle.
I then used the divine swirls folder to emboss the white and folded down the triangle to make the hat look like it was laying down.
For the eyes, I cut a circle in half and positioned them to be slanted on the face.
Next, I added the black for eyelashes, hand cut a nose shape, hand drew a mouth and added dark adhesive backed pearls to the eyes.
Now, for the back, I had a library pocket that I bought in a back at the dollar store that I glued to the back.
I then printed the poem and attached it to the pocket. The green tic tacs will fit right inside the little pocket.
I found the poem on the internet. If you can't read it in the picture, it says:
Feeling kind of grouchy? Holiday Spirit can't be found?
Just try these little "Grinch Pills" They're the best medicine around.
Whether eating a whole handful, or munching on one or two,
These tasty little "pills" Take the Grinch right out of you!
Now, today will start the final pick a stocking giveaway. Stocking #1 is the final stocking left to win. To enter:
1) Become a follower if you are not already.
2) Leave a comment on this post.
I will take all comments through Monday, December 13th and will announce the winner on Tuesday, December 14th.
