Day 6 of 20 Days of Christmas: Alabama Snowball

For Day 6, I have a funny project to share for you that can be used for any hot state.  I live in Alabama, so we hardly ever have any snow here and if we do it is gone quickly.  So, I have made an Alabama snowball using a bottle of water.

I started out with a small bottle of water. I removed the label so you could only see the water.

Next, to make the hat, I took a kid's sock and glued a pompom to the top of the sock and then it could be slipped right over the top of the bottle.

Now, I cut a marquee cut from the storybook cart and then printed directly onto it my sentiment "Merry Christmas from an Alabama Snowball"  To print onto this, I printed the sentiment and then taped my cut over it and reprinted the same thing.

To finish the snowballs, I hot glued google eyes to the front.  Then, I used the cricut to cut mittens from Simply Charmed and the smile from Smiley Cards.  I finally added some faux stitching around the sign and hot glued it to a skewer stick.
