Fantabulous Cricut "Share the Love" Crawl and giveaway

Welcome to Jean's Crafty Corner and the fourth Fantabulous Cricut Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop!

Valentine's Day is in a week and everyone at Fantabulous Cricut has decided to Share the Love! Each Design Team member will be featuring an original Valentine-themed project that includes the word LOVE somewhere on it.

If you've come from visiting Jamie at Cute Cards and Crafts by Jamie, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE FCCB.

Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at some of our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Share the Love" project at FCCB!

How fun is that?

For my project, I decided to make a glass block for Valentine's Day.  I started out with an empty glass block and filled it with glitter hearts in red and pink that I got from the Dollar Store.  Then, I added a red ribbon with tiny white hearts on it to the block.  To finish it off, I used pink vinyl to cut the letters from Don Juan and the heart from George to make the word love for the front of my block.

Here is a picture of the hearts that I used and a picture of how the glass block looks before adding the vinyl.  For the hearts, you can easily pull them off of the sticks and then they will fit right into the bottom of the glass block.

Now, for some blog candy.  I will be giving away two sets of cling stamps and a packet of mini heart clothespins. (See pic below)  To be elgible for the giveaway, you will need to:
1) Become a Follower if you are not already
2) Leave a comment on this post
All comments left on this post through Sunday, February 13th will be entered into the drawing for the giveaway. I will use random.org to pick a winner on Monday, February 14th.
Next stop Jennifer's blog at Scrappin Aggie. Go see what she has in store for you today, And when you're done hopping, make sure to link up your project to FCCB's Fantabulous Cricut Crawl post to be entered into the contest!  (Make sure to use a Cricut cut and the word love somewhere on your project.)

Happy Crawling!

  37. Very cute. It looks like it is smaller than a standard glass block like you would see at the hardware store. Where did you get it from?

    ReplyDelete
  38. The block is the mini glass block from Hobby Lobby. They are $9.99, but I usually wait until they have their glassware 50% off to buy them.
