Patriotic Yarn Wreath

I have seen a few of these yarn wreaths around the internet and decided to do my own take on one. Here is what I came up with.

To make the wreath, I started out with a foam wreath form from the Dollar Store and some red, white and blue yarn.

I used the hot glue gun to glue the beginning and end of the yarn as I wrapped it around the form.  I looped the red and white 20 times for each section of the stripes.

When it was fully wrapped, I used the Simply Charmed cartridge to cut three stars out for the side.  I added faux stitching lines around the outside.  I used the Don Juan Cricut cartridge to cut the USA out of blue glitter paper for the center of the stars.  The stars were attached with hot glue.
