I started out with a 6x6 canvas from Hobby Lobby. I spray painted it with Valspar red. Once it was dry, I used SCAL to cut out the Alabama A in white vinyl. I applied a coat of Mod Podge over the canvas to ensure the vinyl would stay down. Once that was dry, I took a piece of houndstooth ribbon and hot glued it to the side of the canvas to finish it off. I think it turned out nice and was really quick and simple to put together.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
The Paper Variety: Home Decor Project: http://thepapervariety.blogspot.com/
