I wanted to make a new project using one of the Cut Files from the site. A few week's ago, the challenge was to use these wonderful leaf files. The files have some great layers, but I only used the base shape for my project. I also used the Gypsy Font to cut the letters. Here is my Fall Table Sign.
To make this sign, I began by using a table sign that I bought on Clearance at Hobby Lobby for $2. (They had two of these, so I got them both.)
I first used white spray paint as a primer over the words and then coated the entire sign with Metallic Gold Spray Paint.
Now, I was ready to decorate the sign. I cut multiple leaves with the Cutting Up With Class Cut File using a combination of glitter and pearlescent papers and hot glued them around the frame. Then, I used Gypsy Font to cut the letters out of brown vinyl and applied them to the sign to finish it off.
Great sign! Congrats on GD!
ReplyDeleteWonderful Job! Love how you repurposed the other sign, although I really love what it said originally. Hee! Hee! It's so pretty for fall and I love the colors!
