Day 8 of 20 Days of Christmas: Santa Belt Ornament

For Day 8, I have a large ornament made to look like Santa's belt around his suit.  I started out with a large red ornament that I found at the dollar store.  Then, I took my black vinyl and cut a strip that was 1 inch high.  I needed it to be 15 1/2 inches long, so I cut two pieces and overlapped them around the ornament.  I then used the Winter Frolic Cartridge to cut the belt out of yellow cardstock at a size of 2 inches high x 2 1/2 inches wide and hot glued it onto the ornament.

Adorable! Hubby was looking over my shoulder and asked if he should break out his electrical tape (his solution for EVERYTHING). This is just so sweet!
