Spook-tac-u-lar Day 6: Candy Corn Cuties

Welcome back to Day 6 of the month long Halloween celebration.  Be sure to stop by Rhonda's blog at http://www.scraphappenswithrhonda.blogspot.com/ when you are finished here to see what she has to share with you today.

Today I have a project to share with you that is one of my favorite I have made this Halloween season.  They are so simple to make.  I have some little Candy Corn Cuties to share with you.

To make the base of these, you will need the following: 3 foam cones (can be any size you want, I purchased mine at the Dollar Tree), yarn in three colors (yellow, orange and white) and hot glue.
Using the hot glue gun to hold it in place, start the yarn and wrap it around the cone.  You will only have to use the hot glue at your starting place and the end to hold the yarn in place.

You will do this withe each color, making the center orange part the largest.  I just eyeballed how much of each color I wanted to use.

Now, to make the face, I used the face from an svg from The Lady Wolf cut files.  I then used hot glue to attach them.  The mouth was a little tricky to get on there, because it was so thin, but I think it works perfect.  I made the mouths all be placed a little different to give them each their own personality.
I am entering this into the following challenge:
