I saw a cute ladybug box on the Living Organized Chaos blog and I was thinking this would be a cute idea to put a gift in, so I wanted to make one myself. I made the box without using the cricut. The box was made with a piece of black cardstock cut at 6 3/4" x 8 1/2" then scored at 2 1/4" inches on all four sides. I then cut the scored edges and folded these up to make a box. Next, I cut a 1 1/2" strip down a 12" piece of black cardstock to make the handle.
The poodle for the box and the card was cut from the Create a Critter Cartridge. I designed them on the Gypsy. I used flocking on the poodles for the box, but then I decided I did not want to use it on the card, so I just embossed the layers with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I filled the box with some white paper shreds and added the gifts. You could modify these to make bigger boxes depending on what you wanted to put into it.
