Gobble Till You Wobble Blog Hop. I am co hosting this hop with Tina of Tina Time, We are all getting ready for turkey day and will be sharing some great projects that include our favorite Thanksgiving friend the turkey. I am your first stop on the hop, so let's get to the fun. :)
Today, I have some Turkey Pops to share with you. I made these little treats for Kaylee to take to her class for Thanksgiving.
To make these, I started out by using the Simply Charmed Cartridge to cut the front layer of the turkey cut. These were cut at a size of 3.5 inches. I cut the yellow and red layers and added some oval google eyes to them also.
Next, I needed to make the feathers for the back. I started out by cutting three scalloped circles from the Sentimentals Cricut Cartridge. I cut them in the following sizes: Orange - 4.75 inches, Red - 4.25 inches, and Yellow - 3.5 inches.
Once they were cut, I had to trim them so they would be straight across the bottom and be the correct height for my turkeys.
Now, I put these together and got the turkeys ready to be finished. I used a hot glue gun to attach the front and back pieces to a tootsie pop.
These are very simple and inexpensive to put together and I believe that the kids will really enjoy them. Here is a side view of how they look put together.

My Gosh Girl! I don't know how you keep up. This is such a cute idea and could be made a million different ways. The fantastic part about this is that you came up with it. I would have never thought. Hee! Hee! Love it!
