Day 16 of 20 Days of Christmas: Santa Pants

For Day 16, I made these Santa Pants bags for Kaylee's class.  They will be filled with little treats and candy for her to give out at her school Christmas party.


I started out with a white lunch sack and cut it off right above the fold.

To make the suspenders, I cut two red strips at about 1 inch wide x 6.5 inches long.  I stapled them to the bag criss crossing.
Now, I used the Storybook Cart to cut the marquee cut twice in red.  I cut it twice more in black and cut the center to attach to the red cut as the belt.  I then used the Winter Frolic cart to cut the gold buckle.  Once finished, I glued these two cuts onto the front and back of the bags.  I made 24 of these total.
