Clockwork Angel Tag Frame

This week, The Cuttlebug Spot is having a challenge to make a project inspired by a book.  You can find their blog here: http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/  I love to read, so I knew that this was a challenge I wanted to join in.  Not too long ago, I read The Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, so I decided to use that book for my inspiration. Here is what I came up with:

I started out by making the tag.  I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More for the base tag and distressed it with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain ink.  Then, I cut a top piece out using the Storybook cartridge, embossed it with the cuttlebug Clockworks folder and then inked it with Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink.  Next I used a Tim Holtz stamp for the man with umbrella, Indie Art cartridge for the wing and then I added a metal brad and a small coin that says courageous with a brad to the bottom.

Now, I took a 5x7 black frame and put a sheet of paper from the piece that I cut the back tag out of inside.  I didn't distress this piece, because I knew you wouldn't really be seeing it much, as the tag would cover most of the frame.
Finally, I hot glued the tag to the front of the frame to finish this out.
