Picnic Layout: CWC Challenge: Design Team Project

Hello everyone.  It is Wednesday again and time for a new challenge over at Cooking with Cricut.  This week, our challenge is to create a project with a picnic theme.  Be sure to stop by and check out all of the projects by the other design team members and enter the challenge here: http://www.cookingwithcricut.com/.

I made a layout for my project this week.  This little ant I used on the layout was drawn and painted by my hubby and then I cut him out and pieced his hands on top of the watermelon.  I used the following Cricut Cartridges for this layout: Simply Charmed for the watermelon, Doodlecharms for the seeds, Paper Pups for the Clouds, Paper Dolls Dress Up for the basket, and George and Basic Shapes for the frame in the basket.  The grass along the bottom was hand cut and I embossed the clouds with the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder.
