I started out with a plain witch caldron that came from Target for $1.50. I then cut the letters for her name out of green vinyl using the Don Juan Cricut Cartridge and attached them to the front of the pot. I used joint tape to line up and attach the letters (this is a lot cheaper than the cricut transfer tape and you get a whole lot more of it as well)
After the pot was finished, I used the Mini Monsters Cartridge to cut the frog out, the Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge to cut the witch hat and the Storybook Cartridge to cut the marquee shape out. I printed the sentiment "Have a Toadily Great Halloween" using the font called cartoon and then used a white opaque pen to add faux stitching around the frame. Once these cuts were all assembled, I hot glued them to skewer sticks and placed a square piece of foam in the bottom of my witch pot to hold them up.
Now, I filled my pot up with some goodies: candy, silly bands, etc. and then used some green spider web fluff to cover the top of the pot and look like the witch's brew. I already gave this to Kaylee so she could set her pot out as decorations at her house and it was a big hit. (You can also see her choices for pumpkins this year, she got a dog, a cat and a football player)

Very Cute project!
What a great idea to use joint tape!! I always use painters tape but it usually comes out crooked! It's now on my list!
Adorable craft!! That toad is cute:)
What a cute gift for Kaylee, and thanks for the tape treat, I'll have to try that!
This is a really cute idea and in the picture it really looked like the pot was smokin!
I love the witches hat on the paper frog.
