Day 18 of Halloween Projects: Bell Necklaces

For Day 18, I have bell necklaces to share with you.  These are one of the favors for the kids coming to Kaylee's Halloween party.
To begin with, you will need plain bells in whatever color you are using.  The black and orange bells came together in a pack from the Halloween area at Hobby Lobby and the white bells came out of the Christmas area.  You will also need thin ribbon to make the necklace part.  I used colors to match the bells. You will also need a black and white paint pen to draw on your bells.

For the orange bells, I drew simple triangles that curved inward a little at the bottom for the eyes and nose with the black paint pen.  The curve of the bell will work as the mouth for your pumpkin face.
For the white bells, I made these into ghosts. I used the black paint pen to make eyes and a mouth on the bells.
For the cat, I took a white paint pen and drew the slanted eyes and a nose with the mouth and whiskers, then I used the black paint pen to add two lines in the eyes.

Now, I took thin ribbon in orange, white and black and made the strings for the necklaces.  Make sure these are long enough for the kids necks.  I strung them through the top of the bell and tied them at the top.

Thank you for sharing all these great ideas! I'm going to do some as gingerbread and snowmen heads for Christmas!
